Pet Pageant in Loudon
It was a lot of fun photographing the Pet Pageant in Loudon Saturday, October 17, at Loudon Municipal Park, sponsored by the Health Education Alliance of Loudon (H.E.A.L.). The doggies were adorable, with their cute costumes, and fun tricks. The peanut-butter eating contest for the doggies was awesome too! To see more photos from this event, go to www.tephotos.instaproofs.com and click on the “Pet Pageant, Loudon.”
Today started out cloudy and foggy, so we did an indoor photo session at TE Photos Studio for Maddy and Taylor, two teenage friends. They brought different outfits for different looks, and did great posing. They were two perfect teen models! Absolutely beautiful teenagers, both in looks and personality. It was fun photographing them. After a while, the weather cleared up, so we went to Campbell Station Park in Farragut for some outdooor photos, which they loved, especially on the bridge and “real” rocks in the creek. Thanks, Maddy and Taylor, for visiting today for photos.

Maddy and Taylor "modeling"
The blue sky seemless photography backdrop was perfect to contrast with Maddy and Taylor’s cute dresses. This photo reminded me of something you might see in a fashion magazine or a teen magazine!

Maddy and Taylor on Rock in Creek
Here is a slightly different version of that pose, with different outfits, and outdoors at Campbell Station Park, on a rock in the creek. These two teen girls did great, and enjoyed the outdoor photos once the weather cleared up for us.

- Melissa And Matthew Wedding 9/9/09
Congratulations to Melissa Riley and Matthew Rankin who were married 9/9/09 at Magnolia Manor in Lenoir City, near Knoxville, TN. It was a late evening wedding, under Magnolia Manor’s famous white gazebo. Her gown with a long train and elegant styling with orange accents and fine beading and lace was from the Gilded Gown on South Chapman Highway in Knoxville. The bouquet was fall flowers, with reds, oranges, gold, and purple accents. Their wedding photos are now online at: www.tephotos.instraproofs.com Thanks, Melissa and Matthew, for inviting me to have such a special part in your wedding as your wedding photographer. Thank you, Matthew, for your service to our country in the military. Best wishes to you both!

One Year Old Eating Birthday Cake
Happy Birthday, Ben! This is sure to become the newest one-year old birthday “rave,” coming to TE Photos Studio for photos of your birthday baby eating their first birthday cake (or cupcake)! This is so much fun!!! We have a blast doing these birthday celebration pictures! If your baby is about to turn one, you’ll want to call to set up an appointment for their pictures at my studio! (Don’t try this at the mall places!)

Emma and Ben
Emma came with Ben to the studio. It is Emma’s birthday too, happy birthday, Emma! Their birthdays are about two weeks apart, so they both got some birthday photos at TE Photos studio. Emma is such a sweet “big sister” to Ben, you can tell she really enjoys her little brother. Their mom and nana came, too, and enjoyed watching the photo-taking, and helped in getting them to both laugh and smile. Everyone had fun. That is the goal at my photography studio, to help it be a fun experience where the children love coming back, and they do! The “Watch Baby Grow” special includes 4 separate photo sessions. The babies change so much that first year, it is truly amazing and wonderful watching them grow.

Ben looking at teddy bear
This is our “watch baby grow” teddy bear. Each session, we get a photo of the baby with the teddy bear to see the difference in the baby’s size relative to the teddy bear. This is fun, when the baby is getting taller and almost as tall as the teddy bear. Recently, we had the teddy bear pose in maternity photos … truly the first photo of the baby with the teddy bear! We need to name the teddy bear, any suggestions, post a comment on this blog! We would love to hear from you! Ben sees himself in mirror!

Ben, one year old baby boy, looking at reflection in mirror
This was fun, watching Ben see himself in the plexiglass mirror. This mirror photo prop is a great photo prop, and has so many creative photo uses, it is sure to get a lot of use, for all ages! We just keep getting more and more photo backdrops and props all the time. It makes it interesting coming for photos at my photo studio, to see what we have today! This is going to become one of my favorite props, it is so interesting, playing with the reflection photos in the mirror. It is really tricky getting the right angles. The plexiglass mirror is not black, but it reflects the black backdrop, making it look black. I have to be careful on the photo angle, to not get the ceiling reflected in the mirror. Maybe I should just paint the ceiling black???
